The auto-weighing & batching system by RAJ Process is a completely pre-engineered solution, equipped with advanced instrumentation for automation. We offer both fully automatic & semi-automatic versions, ensuring customized solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients. The system can handle multiple ingredients and deliver them in the correct sequence and amount, reducing human error and optimizing manufacturing processes.
Construction and Operation
The system consists of multiple storage hoppers, with or without agitators depending upon the nature of the product. These storage hoppers are fitted with coarse and fine screws at the bottom. The screw feeders discharge material into the weighing hopper, which is placed on load cells. Pre-determined quantities of material from each storage hopper are fed to the weighing hopper. The batch controller controls the starting and stopping of coarse and fine screws as per the programmed quantity.
Once the required quantity is fed to the weighing hopper, the bottom valve opens to discharge the material to the mixer. The mixer can be of any type such as Ribbon Blender, Cone Screw Mixer, Agitated Vessel, etc. Once the weighing hopper is empty, the next batching cycle starts. The system can be programmed for any number of batching cycles.
